Beau doesn't have a ton on his list but I do know that he wants/needs a shop vac. We will use it ALOT (for instance I would use it right now as we are sanding a project in my lovely dining room....yeesh!)

Also he would like a Steelers Snuggie. No joke.

He would also like a gift card to Home Depot or Amazon.com.

And if all else fails a subscription to Runner's World will work.

Soo....Here are few things I would like. Sorry so late!

1. Something to keep me warm at home such as fleece pants, sweaters, sweat shirts, slippers, or yoga pants (size M for all of the above)

2. Nice candle. Good quality, long lasting and lovely smelling

3. I would LOVE some accent salad plates to go with my cream colored china. I really don't mind any style just something that you like and think would look cute with cream china!

4. Coffee! Be creative

5. A food processor, any color but red or white. Be fun!

6. And last but not least...an experience. I would love for someone to pick out a new experience for me. A class of some sort (art or pottery class, cake decorating, furniture reupholstering, home decorating, a tasting, a pastry or baking class, sewing, cooking class, or miming)...okay maybe not that last one, had plenty of that already thanks to KK! :)

tools for the house---pliers, several sizes phillips and straight screwdrivers, maybe in pink or purple so dad wont steal them to his truck!

Jimmy's argument:
A bird in the hand is worth MORE than two in the bush. (but not the same amount) So the saying does not make sense.

Here's a few thoughts for myself.

A house. (oh wait, I think that exceeds the spending limit)

Well then how about:

Anything in the coffee line: a press would be great, some gourmet beans or actual coffee maker that makes more than 2 cups!

Jewelry box or jewelry or accessories to look a bit more jazzy.

In an ever expanding effort to get a hobby, I'd love some painting lessons (nothing too formal, just some basics to get me started) or some supplies

I had my eye on the book Power Thoughts by Joyce Meyer

Or any new worship CDs (hillsong, united, or anything else with some substance)

Boccee Ball Set (well this is on Courtney's list too.)

Anything fun for my new house which has not yet materialized...I know thats kinda hard to buy for I guess...hmm..

PSS I went to make cutout christmas cookies and after preparing the dough I realized I did not own a rolling pin! Dough is in the fridge indefinately. :) Moral of the story: a rolling pin is on my list now.

Littlest Christmas List (LCL)

Hello family,

That first post was just a test. This is the real list that I want for Christmas. So wherever has my name can be completely creative in their gift giving as much as they feel they want to. I like Karena's idea of general gifts of things you would like not necessarily things I need. So here's a little outline of things that I like to collect or would enjoy as a splurge to my usual shopping of toothpaste and deodorant.

Coffee and tea accessories (specifically, Turkish coffee) or anything cute from Starbucks (like the book "2") or coffee table book of coffees, anything to add to a coffee and tea mecca.

Records for my record player

Books that you enjoy reading (non-fiction, fiction, poetry, plays and scripts, specifically: "Hunger Games,")

Glass decorations

antiques

Jewelry (earring studs, vintage stuff, whatever)

Cookbook (basic or breads)

Movies (classics, black and whites or anything that you think everyone needs to see, specifically, Moulin Rouge)

Outdoor gear (head lamps, fire starter with magnesium, anything you think would help you survive in the wild)

Pampering beauty products (makeup to body scrubs. whatever you like to use)

Brown paper packages tied up in string...

These are a few of my favorite things. I think that will get you thinking and you could be creative and get something completely different or make your own gift!

Hey everyone - just firing up the ol' Kauffman Christmas Blog!

Before you begin, make sure you read the few thoughts shared in the right column. Hope that makes sense. Leave a comment here if not or if you'd like to tweak the idea.

It was suggested by some that we draw names again on Thanksgiving and do around $30ish per person as a limit. I haven't spoke to all to find out if that will work or if we want to do something else. Please chime in here or give me a call with your thoughts!
